We are the Los Angeles Golden Knights — the premier SoCal-based team in the sport of Armored Combat. For over a decade, we have trained medieval combat enthusiasts and expanded local awareness for buhurt, pro-fights, and duels.

Weekly training programs are led by award-winning buhurt and duels veterans, focusing on teamwork, strategy, and pell work. Join Our TeamBetween the 12th and 16th centuries, knights competed in mêlées and hand-to-hand tournaments — clashes of pride, courage, and martial prowess. Today, that tradition lives again as a modern full-contact combat sport with blunt steel weapons and historically authentic armor.
Competitors wear full sets of medieval-style armor from the period 1200–1699. Each fighter's kit must originate from the same region and within a fifty-year span, ensuring historical authenticity and visual cohesion on the field.
Using blunt steel weapons, fighters aim to knock down their opponents through strikes and mixed martial arts takedowns. Formats range from intense 1v1 duels and 5v5 buhurt all the way to epic 150v150 mass battles.
Knight marshals with combat experience referee every bout. Prohibited zones, no thrusting, and no dislocations keep the sport as safe as possible while preserving the raw, full-contact intensity that defines armored combat.
